【背割堤（せわりてい）／Sewari Levee】
About 250 of Someiyoshino cherry trees are planted along the Yodo river
(1.4km) at Yawata City, south of Kyoto.
Here is the most famous spots for "Hanami" (cherry blossom viewing). The observation platform "Sakura Deai-kan", located 25 meters above ground, is scheduled to be opened on 25th March 2017 at the Sewari levee, provides a spectacular view of the Sewari levee.
位於京都府南部的八幡市，延著淀川河道長達1.4公里的櫻花步道上植有約250棵左右的染井吉野櫻，是京都府內最具人氣的賞櫻勝地。2017年3月25日新開幕的「遇見櫻花館（さくらであい館）」，可讓旅客在高25公尺的展望台上欣賞背割堤的櫻花。
京都府南部の八幡市にあり、淀川に沿って1.4キロの桜並木に約250本のソメイヨシノが植えています。京都府内で最も人気のあるお花見の鑑賞地。2017年3月25日に高さ約25メートルの展望台から背割堤が一望できる「さくらであい館」がオープンします。
